Testing ignitability of building materials

subjected to direct impingement of flame according to EN ISO 11925-2:2010.


TGV-805 Testing chamber provides an efficient system for testing ignitability of building products subjected to direct impingement of flame. It is designed according to EN ISO 11925-2:2010 for testing ignitability of styrofoam (EPS), however, it can be adapted for testing any material that highly deforms or flows under direct impingement of flame. The chamber is made of stainless steel with heat resistant glazed doors on the front and lateral wall. The burner is connected to an outside gas tank.

 

The gas piping is equipped with a safety valve. The flame is controlled via a control valve and electronics which determine the duration of the burn.

The DST-100.Vibro apparatus is used to determine dynamic stiffness of thermal insulating materials and through that determine the sound insulating characteristics of the material in accordance with the EN 29052-1/ISO 9052 standard

 

Dynamic stiffness of a material is determined to quantitatively derive its ability to absorb sound.

 


The DST-100.Vibro is designed for measurement of dynamic stiffness of thermal and sound insulation materials according to EN 29052-1/ISO 9052 standard. The DST-100.Vibro is used for materials such as: EPS, mineral wool, glass wool, polyurethane foam and similar.

XYZ.320 is a tabletop system for determining geometrical characteristics of thermal insulation products for building applications. It is designed for use in industrial laboratories for product control.

The apparatus consists of a table with lead bars and a digital measuring device that ensure simple operation and little user manipulation. It has a robust construction with a smooth and even granite base plate.

Determining steady-state heat transfer properties, thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of flat slab specimens in accordance with EN 12667, ISO 8301 and ASTM C518

The LM.PLUS 305 Heat Flow Meter Apparatus is a measuring instrument for determination of steady-state heat transfer properties, thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of flat slab specimens in accordance to EN 12667, ISO 8301 and ASTM C518 standards. It is designed for use in industrial test laboratories for quality control of low thermal conductivity materials such as EPS and  XPS.


The LM.PLUS 305 Heat Flow Meter is designed as a Steady State Heat flow meter, with a constant temperature on both sides of the specimen and does not fluctuate more than ± 0.01 °C. The heat flow is measured with two separate heat flow sensors . The apparatus ensures precise and fast work, with excellent result reproduction.


Calibration is carried out with a supplied calibration sample which has its own certificate.

The ES model range is suited for testing of mechanical properties of insulating materials. ES models are universal testing machines for both tensile and pressure testing. The power-train is a servo motor, providing smooth vertical travel and high precision crosshead positioning. All models are equipped as standard with the appropriate accessories for the following tests:


EN 826 – Compression test

EN 1607 – Tensile test

EN 12089 – Bending test

EN 12090 – Shear test



All models are class 1 products in accordance with EN7500, which means that the error in measuring force is ±0.5% of the measuring area, adequate for all standardized testing. Upon request, the sensitivity of force measurement can be increased to ±0.1%. The accuracy of the deformation is ±0.01 mm, upon request it can be upgraded to ±0.001 mm.
